The Crab Report

Finally got some good photos of local fiddler crabs (Uca pugnax).  They are very hard to photograph.  Every time I tried to take a picture, the bastards would run for their burrows.  I had to get a some what decent camera with a zoom to be able to photograph them (Nikon Coolpix L340 Digital).  For people who are wondering where this is, it is in Anne Kolb Center in Hollywood Florida.

I had to change to a new spot because i was getting bitten by some crazy buggs.

Some Gambusia sp.  mosquitofish.  I could not get a good pic of them

Fiddler crabs sure do love their mud. he he
